How to resolve issue where unused RAM slot will not recognize RAM

website ram not detected in slot 2 I tried to install a second 2 gb RAM card in slot 2 The BIOS & Windows does NOT recognize the added RAM ramses book golden nights slot You can check if the RAM modules are correctly inserted in the slots on the motherboard 2 ports detected ehci_hcd 0000:00::
